Sugar Coated Aniseed (Confectionery) is prepared from sugar, aniseed's and a couple of food dyes. Aniseed's are coated with sugar and brightly colored in different colors to be served as after-meal snack or digestive aid. Some essential oils, including peppermint oil can be added to add refreshing flavor and aroma to it. It is considered as a classic post-dinner treat in Pakistani cuisine.
